At Del Corona & Scardigli Spain, we are looking for a meticulous and dedicated professional to manage and supervise all facets of our maritime export and import operations. This position requires a combination of analytical skills, decision-making abilities and a deep understanding of international trade and maritime logistics.   Principal functions: Export Area:
  1. Search and Quote:
    • Search for offers on online platforms.
    • Consult and negotiate special rates with shipping lines for effective quotes.
  2. Complete Shipping Coordination:
    • Establish contact with the consignor and, if necessary, with the correspondent.
    • Organize transportation to the port.
    • Coordinate customs clearance with the corresponding agent.
    • Reserve space with the shipping line and prepare the necessary documentation.
  3. Communication and Advance Notices:
    • Inform the shipper and the customs agent about the intervention of correspondents.
  4. Monitoring and Resolution of Incidents:
    • Carry out continuous monitoring of shipments.
    • Resolve any incident that may arise during the process.
  5. Billing:
    • Issue invoices to clients and agents.
    • Review and confirm supplier invoices.
  6. Insurance Management:
    • Process insurance policies as necessary.
Import Area:
  1. Offer of Collection Services and Local Expenses:
    • Obtain rates from correspondents for collection services at origin.
    • Quote local expenses, dispatch and delivery for DAP or CPT shipments.
  2. Import Coordination:
    • Contact the importer and correspondent, if applicable.
    • Notify the customs agent in advance and verify the necessary documentation.
    • Coordinate dispatch and delivery with the carrier.
  3. Tax Collection Management:
    • Manage tax collections when necessary.
  4. Tracking until Delivery:
    • Ensure shipment tracking until final delivery.
  5. Billing:
    • Perform billing and confirmation of supplier invoices.
  6. Insurance Management:
    • Process insurance policies as required.
